Hello I am Chris and I am the face behind WOODLOCKS. I’ve been doing Carpentry & Joinery for over 25 years. NVQ qualified and many years of experience.
I’ve always done 2nd fixing (hang doors, fit locks, architraves and skirting etc) but I started working for a company making Italian furniture, dining tables & chairs for a few years then I moved on to another company where I remained there for more than 10 years making bespoke picture frames for museums such as The British Museum, The Tate Gallery, Imperial War Museum, Serpentine museum and many more.
I’d work with all types of raw timber boards like Oak, Ash, Beech, Tulip and more.. creating different designs and style of frames for the artists to choose from.
Throughout the years I’ve also gained experience in painting & decorating, plumbing and my next move was Locksmithing…
Carpentry & Locksmithing work together as one so I qualified as a locksmith and now I incorporate all that I know into my work with pride and passion.
I love my trades and I love what I do.
I also like that I can give my customers that face to face service.
When I can make a difference and the customer is pleased.. I can see the appreciation.. that’s my joy.
This ain’t just business.. this is personal…
